Attention Stargazers!!
Got this from my Farmer's Almanac e-newsletter...
Sky Watch
The planets and the Moon are putting on a show! For a few nights, brilliant Venus, bright Jupiter, and the crescent Moon blaze in a striking conjunction. They first formed their brilliant triangle last night, 15 degrees high, in the southwestern sky. The three celestial objectives will continue to stay close together as seen from Earth even though the planets are millions of miles away.

Help, problem with blog
Something weird is happening today. When I go to my blog, I get a password popup:
The server www.blenza.com at Restricted Area requires a username and password.
I click on cancel and my blog loads just fine.
Any idea what's going on?
Back into a Routine? Really? HAH! Something fun!
Good morning!
Breakfast was GOOD. I mean, the FOOD was excellent! The price was reasonable. The conversation was...strained. My dad's wife actually asked me if their visits stress me out. Uh...YEAH! But, I smiled and said, "No...of course they don't." Yes, I just admitted in my blog that I lied. I'm sorry. But this is just not something that I will ever be able to tell them.
Oh, and somewhere Sunday night my keys were lost. So Monday, I was car-less. Ugh. Of course, everything works out. My trunk has problems latching. So this morning, I prayed to God and asked him that I be able to get into my trunk. YEAH! It was unlatched! THEN, I had to be able to get IN the car!!! I ahve TONS of boxes with TONS of "stuff" in my car...and needless to say, getting IN the car...that was very difficult. God was there with me to show me how. At one moment, I DID get my arm caught between the seats. :-)
Once in the car, I made my way to the front and was able to find my "spare" set stuff between the floor and the passenger seat. YEAH! Today I can GO SOMEWHERE!
But, right now, I am going to go down and clean out my old POCKETBOOK! There must be $5-10 in CHANGE in teh bottom! :-)
Oh, and the laundry...yes, that should be done too!
Wait, I forgot to tell yo uthe fun thing!!! Every once in a while, I participate in a "FabHopShop". www.fabhopshop.com You go to online quilt sites and look for a rabbit. This is about the 4th or 5th one I have done. And THIS year...I WON a $10 Gift Certificate to one of the quilt stores!!!!! It will only buy me about a yard of fabric there...but what FUN fabric!!!
Your Sister in Christ,
Avery
What did the first day of December bring?
Well, December 1rst in my neck of the woods looked like this:
Freezing cold.
26 degrees with wind chill of 13
Snow.
About an inch or so but the wind
blew it all night
drifting it all over.
Grey Day. No Sunshine.
Bill paying, checkbook reconciling
grocery shopping, laundry doing,
calendar fixing, menu making,
kitchen cleaning.
Then
drive to lesson, drive to friends while lesson takes place.
Friend has emergency asks if I will work
for her.....tonight.
I say yes.
Pick up kid from lesson, drive home, flip laundry
jump in shower, get ready
flip laundry
Jump in car, head for work
Eat dinner at work
Work.
Come home.
Run puppies to the potty. Burrrrr the wind is wicked.
Come in
OOOOO Left my cell in my car.
Burrr the wind is wicked cold.
Come in.
Need more wood for the fire.
BURRRR the wind is wicked crazy cold.
Come in.
Not going back out.
Try to sit down with Bible study.
Can't focus.
Too much noise in my head and in my heart.
This is a gruleing week for me.
Double today, work Wed, thur, fri.
Go on road trip Friday, Sat Sun.
I am tired.
This sucks.

Commitment
Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:5
To commit myself to someone brings accountability and responsibility. It means to bind oneself: I am obligated to; I have pledged. Are we willing to commit our lives, ways, plans, and future to God? How about a commitment to the brotherhood? Is it possible that Satan has succeeded in blinding our minds to the blessing commitment can bring to our lives? Perhaps the most important commitment is being totally honest with God and man. If we have not learned that, we will find it very difficult to be committed in other areas as well. An older man once said that because of his upbringing he could say, “I would rather die than lie.”
The story of a Spanish explorer, Cortez, who landed at Vera Cruz in 1519, can teach us a lesson about commitment. He began his conquest of Mexico with a small force of 700 men. Upon landing, he set fire to his fleet of eleven ships. His men on the shore watched their only means of retreat sink to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. There was now only one direction to move—forward into the Mexican interior to meet whatever might come their way.
We too must purposely destroy all avenues of retreat as Christ’s disciples. We must resolve that whatever price is required to be His follower, we will pay it.

A God Thing
A God Thing.
I am seeing more and more of his hand work and ways. Last night we discovered that our one female golden Gracie is pregnant!!! We are so happy. She was breed to our new golden male Alex. We want this so bad. You see both dogs are service dogs. We have 2 families we want to help out with their puppies. The both have children with special needs, where a service dog can help out. My daughters and I train service dogs.
Last night Tammy and her hubby one of the parents prayed that Gracie was going to have puppies. That was night we discovered she was. See a God thing.
Another was they were looking for a new place to have the children with special needs to ride horse. Another God thing, because we have been praying about that for over a year. See another God thing.
God sure is a great. He puts us together to help one another.
God Bless, mj

Cooking Meatballs
Last night I made some meatballs. When I make meatballs I usually make several pounds at time. I make my meatballs with the same recipe as meatloaf and then make little balls to fry on the stove. Last night I decided to bake them in the oven. So after making all my little meatballs, they went into several pans with some space in between so they weren't touching. Then I added some water to the pans so they wouldn't stick to the bottom of the pans. (My mother in law taught me to put some water in the bottom of the pan when your making meatloaf so it won't get all hard on the bottom.) I baked them at 350 for a little bit till they were done. I was really impressed with how they turned out and I will be making them this way again. It was a lot easier than frying them on the stove and it took less time.
Have a wonderful day.
