The past weekend was a wonderful blessing for us. We had the opportunity to attend a church youth camp. Joe and I were dorm parents and also served in other capacities. Joe worked in the kitchen during breakfast each morning and I served on the "God Squad" with the task of spending much of my time praying for the youth and leaders at the camp. The weekend was so awesome. The Lord's spirit was there and everyone seemed to enjoy their time at camp.

On the first night of camp, Abbie decided to crawl for the first time. She had such an expression of joy and pride on her face when she finally crawled across the blanket I had her playing on. The next day, Joe and I had her on the grass and he was able to watch her crawl. What a joy to watch!

We met made many new friends at the camp. We were so blessed through this. We have email addresses of several people we met and are keeping in touch with them. The spirit that everyone brought to camp was so rejuvenating and inspiring. The testimonies shared were precious gifts that we were able to enjoy.

I feel so blessed to have spent the weekend with people so devoted to the Lord and to teaching the youth about the love of God.
