The Lord always provides

Our budget is tight right now to say the least.  I am upset to admit that I normally spend $100 each week on gasoline. We live out in the country and I am very careful not to waste gas (Our car is a guzzler, but it is paid off).  I work in town, so I run my errands while I'm there.  

Last Friday, we had a lot of bills to pay and I did not have much money left for gas.  I put $40.00 in my tank, went home and tried to forget our financial burdens.  On Saturday, my husband drove my car to work, he came home & cleaned up and we drove back to town to participate in the parade.  On Sunday we drove to church, which is 40 miles one way.  I drove to work each day this week and I am in awe to say that the gas gauge never moved off the 1/4 tank marker! 

I feel so blessed to know that God cares enough about me to meet my every need.  He is an awesome God and I am thankful to be his child.

Oh I am with you dear. God always meets our needs as well, and I am so thankful!! We are tight on money as well, and a few weeks ago as I was going over our monthly budget, I was fretting a little and praying alot. I recopied it and found out the money left over at the end of the month had grown. I copied it over several times that day, and it seemed God was making out money grow and to stretch farther. I don't know how to explain it other than, I was a God Thing!!!!
