Well, we have been doing school all Summer, but only on Tues, Wed, Thurs. This will be changing In September when we will be going to 5 days a week. So, I felt compelled to get some chores done. Did some laundry (wash, hung, and folded), washed some lace curtains my mom gave me and hung them in my living room and the school room, canned 3 jars of sweet pickles, 2 jars of relish, in process of making yogurt, paid some bills, exercised, tended the garden, read the Bible with the kids. I think we are going to take a stroll down the lane. The weather has been lovely, however my garden could use so rain. I don't like watering. I still need to get the unit study on Pioneers printed out for this weeks school. I broke it down into 2 weeks. I'vebeen sprinkling the school with unit studies I have been getting (for free!) to not make school so schoolish (I know not a real word). I find I get bored with school, too. My kiddos and me will be starting our 7th year of homeschooling. I love it most days. Other days I want to scream (and I usually do. I hate that!) I also need to work on ouradoption papers for our homestudy. They sent us what seems like a thousand papers and question to answers. But it needs to be done. The health department was suppose to come out today to get a sample of our water, but they never came. (I MAD!!) We need that test for our homestudy. Well I off fora walk with my family.
