Fun Thanksgiving Activities for Children

Check out this site for some cute coloring pages for children... there are 40 seperate Thankgiving-themed pages- everything from cute pumpkins to whimsical pilgrims and Indians.  Your children will enjoy these pictures, Amy sure does!  Ideal for printing and taking along on your trip, if you have to do any traveling for the holiday. 

Here is a cute craft from Oriental Trading Company. The leaves are precut from foam and are arranged and glued on another  piece of foam to make a "frame".  Since it's obviously too late to order anything in time for Thanksgiving, you could easily make this craft using construction paper for the leaves and cardstock for the back of the frame.  (Try using leaf-shaped cookie cutters to trace the leaves!)  Just add a magnet to the back of it when you're done, insert a picture of your little one, and place it on your fridge!  Would be a fun Thanksgiving afternoon craft for the children in your family!
