Calling All Homeschoolers!

Thought I'd post this again this mornig...

Hello there to all my fellow homeschoolers! 

With back-to-school just around the corner, I'd like to get the "homeschool" page of my website up and running by the end of this month... SOOOO, I'm inviting all you homeschooling families to share some of your advice, recommendations, tips and ideas, stories and experiences, and anything else! to be featured on my website!  If you're a homeschooling parent, graduate, or student, then you qualify to submit SOMETHING! 

Here are some veins of thoughts I'd like to hear from you: 

• The pros and cons of home education: In your opinion, what are the benefits, perks, and struggles of homeschooling or being homeschooled? 
• How homeschooling DOES prepare kids for college and life in the "real world"
• Tips for dealing with the "socialization" issue
• How you mamas motivate your children to get their school work done
• How fathers can be involved in the educating process
• Organization tips for juggling educating, feeding AND clothing your children (not to mention caring for hubby!) 
• Insights on homeschooling in a "large" family  :o) 
• Recommendations for curriculums
• Your favorite homeschool resources, books, authors, publications, etc
• How young to start your child's education
• Ideas for homeschool graduations, getting your child's diploma, etc

Send your homeschooling expertise to submissions@homemakerscottage.com.  With your submission please include your name, contact info (if you don't mind sharing it), a pic of yourself or your family (if you like), any links to your blog and/or website, and a short bio- this will be posted on the site along with your submission.
