Another brain teaser...

First, I want to say thank you to my dh's Uncle Johnny & Uncle Jim who are always trying to stump each other, and us. I just love brain teasters. So, here is another one for you. Again, NO CHEATING... Don't try and google it.

Can you make change for $1.00 using 50 coins?

Note: There are two possible answers (that I now of.)

45 pennies= .45

I thought the two answers was "yes" and "no." I have thought harder now. She got the first answer and now here is the second....

8 x .05 = .40
2 x .10 = .20
40 x .01 = .40

Back in the 'old days' they had 2 cent pieces, so it would be 50 of them. Or one 50 cent piece and 50 pennies.
