Spring has finially sprung!!! Thursday, April 3, 2008

Whew, finially, spring weather. It was 50 degrees here today. The sun shone most of today. Suppose to rain tomorrow which will be a nice change but I sure hope it doesn't drop below freezing before I come to work at 11pm.

My tomato plants are looking well. Almost time to put them in a bigger pot of dirt. My flowers are taking their own sweet time however. I'm thinking they are waiting for warmer days LOL. I'll be starting my broccoli, cukes, and squashes soon. We have such a short season here that any advantage I can give them I do. I'm looking forward to getting out there and getting my hands dirty. I so love the smell of fresh turned earth.

When I was sitting out early this morning drinking coffee on my front steps the birds were chirping. Taffy and I just enjoyed it. It was sooooo relaxing. I love the early mornings.

Tomorrow I'll be cleaning church. Uff da but this week flew by.I'm working this weekend so really need to clean tomorow.
