Good Tuesday Morning Friends! 19 Feb 08

Wow, I so can't believe that February is almost over. Where has the time gone??  I have to say I honestly can't wait for all this slop and cold to be gone. Now I know that it's a must in order to keep our earth in sync with everything but jeeze....We had cold and snow Sunday and yesterday.  Many cars in the ditch. Uff da, can't wait until I move closer to work.

I'm planning out what to plant in my gardens this summer. I'm so excited to start planting. One of my favorite times. It's so relaxing and I love the smell of fresh turned dirt. Mmmmm. One of our gas stations also doubles as a bait shop and I've been lucky enough to get some red worms and start a nice little compost bin in the bacement. No smell, no reall fuss or muss. Just toss in the non meat and non dairy foods in the bin along with some shredded newspaper and a little dirt, spritz and away you go. Make sure your container has air holes in it.  I recently mixed the compost with the potting soil from my house plants and am amazed at the difference.  Much healthier and happier plants to be sure.

I'm slowly whittling away at the work to be done in order to sell my house. The hall is almost ready to be painted and it'll be done. I don't mean to offend anyone, but in my opinion, the person who decided to start putting sand in paint to make it adhere better should be severly scolded! Ouch - might just as well glue coarse sandpaper on the wall and paint it. Anyway, my hall was about as smooth as 60 grit sand paper so I took some "mudd" and went to town on it. I's coming along nicely although the thought of the ceiling makes me want to cry. Normally I'd just paint and be done but I had to patch a strip and it'll look awful if I leave it a smooth strip and the rest course. I'll have to "mudd" over the kitchen ceiling but that is a fairly smooth surface so won't be bad at all. God willing, the inside will be done by May and then all the outiside sprucing will be done by June and I can get it on the market. I'm spending every waking moment on it to be sure. I'm looking forward to my new journey when it begins.

Well, my tummy isn't feeling the best and I'd better go get my morning chores done so when the day shift comes in I'll be able to leave right away. Have a great day and may God Bless each of you.

Michele
