Better day today, Thursday, 13 Dec 07

Good morning everyone, better day thus far today.  New page in the book. Was a bit rushed this morning as I over slept this morning then had to rush to get my daughter off to school. Am enjoying my coffee and "balmy" 17 degrees. Sat outside with Taffy for a bit but by that time everyone was up and about and it didn't feel as relaxing at my 0530 relaxation time.

Tree stayed up thus far so when I'm done here will attack the remaining ornaments and say a prayer it stays put this time. LOL, what a mess I had. I'm sure any one of you would have laughed right along with me - esp the third time it toppled over.  I think I left the trunk too long and after cutting another 3 inches off and the tree stand from my mother solved the problem. Next year I'll for sure remember. Ah, just think how I can laugh at the memories every Christmas here on out. Good thing I bounce well LOL.

No new snow here yet. Some expected tonite but nothing major. The next system is due Sunday night but again, nothing serious.  I'm working this weekend (Fri night thru Mon morning) then off until Christmas night. This has been nice (with the exception of yesterday) being off this time of year and I may take vacation at this time next year. I won't have as much but should have a week or so left. Of course that all depends on the housing situation.

After serious consideration and prayer, I've decided to put the house up for sale yet this winter in hopes I can at least break even. I've tried to work the numbers and no matter what I do, what area of the budget I try to shave, I wouldn't be able to meet the mandatory monthly requirements so...... Gotta love those mortgage companies.

Well, better get at my day. Almost 0900 and about the only thing I've done was a quick vacuum job. Have a wonderful day friends. God's Blessings to all!
