Glad that's over!

Hi - I survived LOL. While my blood sugar numbers were of a bit of concern, the rest of the "visit" went well. According to their scale, I was down 2 pounds from my last visit - Wahoo! He added a new med for bedtime to help lower my morning levels and hopefully that will work. My feet were great (they have to check) with the exception of the neuopathy. We'll take it. Blood pressure was slightly up but I'm taking sinus meds which will raise it. We talked about who I should see after he leaves - he's thinking January or March. I asked "who do you think is up for the challange?" He laughed and said I wasn't that bad and at least I do what he says and suggests. If all his patients were like me non of them would have the issues they had. I thought that was a nice compliment. We may not always see eye to eye but I am going to miss him. Shhhhh, don't tell LOL. He suggested the PA that works there but she has health issues and isn't there much. We're always getting notices where 2 - 3 times a week she won't be in office. He was pushing a bit for her as the others will be busier than they are now but I'm thinking of going with my first choice. I'll talk to him on Christmas night when he's on call and see what he thinks. I trust him and like him a lot.
I just want to say how much I love visiting everyone's bloggs. You all have such great ideas, suggestions, tips of the trade and recipes - oh how I love the recipes!! With my diabetes I have to be careful but most all of you use whole grains, natural sweeteners and "good for you" ingredients that I fully believe in using. Also, I can easily "tweak" them to what I need. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I've learned so much from everyone and by implimenting many of your ideas I've been able to breathe a little easier when bill paying time comes. Things are still VERY tight as many of you struggle with as well, but instead of being short every month, I've been able to squeeze out a couple (and I mean couple LOL) dollars to put aside for a rainy day. I hope someday someone will be able to come to my blogg and gain something from what I write. I'm still learning but have made HUGE progress on everything. I'm so glad I stumbled across this site.
Well, I'd better get decorating. Have a warm and pleasent afternoon and evening!
Love and Fuzzies - Michele
