Brrrrrrr - It's freezing out there!!

A whopping 5 degrees - on it's way down to zero for the low tonite. Might hit 10 degrees tomorrow. Gotta get that plastic up ASAP as I didn't get to it today.  What little snow is out there has that "crunch" to it telling me that I'm not imagening the cold. The sun did shine today lulling us into thinking it was warmer out there than it actually was. It was beautiful as the sun sparkled off the snow. The wind was blowing and causing drifts but oddly enough the blowing snow just added to the beauty.

The funeral was nice - a lot of people there which was nice. The Ladies Aide had a very nice luncheon after. It was draining tho and I'm exhausted. Early to bed tonite.

I skipped dinner tonite. I know, I know - bad, bad, bad but I had no appitite. Sigh....... Tomorrow will be better I'm sure.

I must do laundry tomorrow. Would like to bring up the "fake" tree that goes in the dinning room. I decorate it in a "Candy Land" theme using clay gingerbread people, candy canes, ribbon that has red and white stripes on it, other glass candy shaped ornaments as well as dried oranges. It's real cute once it's all done.

I have to work this weekend and of course we're expecting snow. Bad weather makes for a very long 25 mile drive to work and back home again.

Your weather reports made me take a look and sure enough, you're not too far from my neck of the woods. I'm up in Northern Minn. where we will get down to -14 tonight with windchills of -30. I think I'm bragging? Where's global warming when I want it?
