Good TGIF everyone. Well, once again I climbed, I conquered and now I can begin a three-peat at Mt. Washmore LOL. Cleaned the carpet in my dinning room as well. Whew. Saturday morning I'm making Lefse with some ladies from church. It's for our bake sale Dec 1st. We package and freeze it. It sells quick - usually all in the first 15-20 minutes.

Will be busy next week for certain. I need to wax the multi purpose room at church to have it ready for the bake sale. Uff da that floor needs help! I think the last time that floor was stripped and waxed was last fall while I was recouping from my ACL surgery. I didn't do it so you can imagine the frustration of seeing it in the condition it's in.

My pastor called yesterday and said that not only would he like that floor waxed (which was on my plan for next week already LOL) but the Bishop was coming the day after the bake sale and could I please have things looking extra nice that Sunday - Sigh..... It's my weekend to work no less. To top it off, he asked if anyone has been giving me a hard time about the cleaning. Seems that he's heard an earful from an annoying secretary who's got her undies in a bundle about things being perfect with the Bishop coming. I told him I already took care of it so she hasn't said anything more to me (sheepish grin). She unfortunately has been griping to him. I take it my "so grab a rag and bucket" comment didn't sink in LOL. Must mean my very sarcastic "Gee, you put in a 8 hour night shift, sleep 4 hours of interupted sleep, do a good 4-5 hours of housework and put in 1-2 hours of church work and when you can do everything on my list for a week and have it all done perfectly then I'll allow you to criticize my work here." didn't pan out so well either. May God forgive me.

I made a very good meatloaf for supper Wednesday night. Last night I used the leftovers in a casserol. Delish! I had stir-fry veggies and boiled red spuds with the meatloaf. A very tasty meal - probably because I was hungry for it. Instead of using all beef, I took some chicken breasts I had gotten on sale for VERY cheap, ground up a couple and used half chicken and half beef. Didn't hamper the taste at all. Yesterday I made a sugar free pumpkin desert. I forgot to taste it to see how it turned out. Too busy I guess. Will for sure have a piece today.

Well, see everyone on Monday night. Have a wonderful, safe weekend!

Michele
