Good Morning everyone. Have had a fairly busy weekend so this is the first chance I've really had to post.

Saturday my baby turned 18. Since we had a party last Friday things weren't so pressed. She had worked the local J Cee's Haunted House until 11pm Friday night and I worked 11pm-7am Friday night so we both slept in till noonish. Went and saw the new Ben Stiler movie (I don't recommend it!) then had dinner at the Chinese place she likes. Was an enjoyable afternoon/early evening. Then she had to be back at the Haunted House at 5:30pm so that was her Birthday except for the small party they had for her at the Haunted House. She seemed to enjoy it and I embraced the nice day spent with her. She's been in with a new crowd of nice girls and her attitude has improved so much. It's the little things in life. She still has issues and I don't totally trust her yet but it is nice to see her be upbeat and trying.

Today is laundry day - never ending isn't it ? LOL. At least it's just a small hill and not the usual mountain.  Will change sheets as well.

Yesterday I raked a bit and trimmed some trees and bushes. I sure hope they look better in the spring LOL. Sigh...... what do you do?? Taffy again "helped" by playing in my leaf piles and dragging the branches all over the place LOL. She's so cute it's hard to get upset with her.

Tomorrow I'll hopefully get the garage cleaned out and a dump run made.  I'm thinking chicken and biscuits for dinner tonite. I made the best "accidental soup the other day. I was making veggie soup and thought I was adding a big can of diced tomatoes but I went thru the process of opening and adding 3/4 of a large can of tomato sauce before realizing. Jeeze, what a space cadet LOL. I let it simmer and boy oh boy, the best soup I've made in a while! Couldn't believe it. I canned 7 pints of it and will enjoy it again.
