Fall Days - Thursday, 27 Sept 07

Hi everyone. So far the vacation has been a little on the "slow" side. I've been down with a nasty cold that I woke up with Monday afternoon and today is the first day I've been able to breathe. My head is still all stuffy but am feeling better.

I canned 8 quarts of chicken soup that I've been eating on all week. It turned out soooooo good. I was given some late tomatoes that I HAVE to use or loose so will be making spaghetti sauce this afternoon.

The weather has been good here. Had some thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday morning but the rest of the week has been sunny although as I look out the window it's clouded up again. Temps durning the day have been low to mid 60's but then that's fall for you. Color around here has peaked. I've one maple that's about bare LOL but when the sun comes out, the warmth is able to flow into my living room.

I'm enjoying my "new" dinning room. I'm not a fan of carpet but I must say it does look nice. Now if I can get as lucky with the living room.

Well, best be getting home to make that sauce and maybe take a nap. My head's getting all fuzzie again. Have a wonderful day and a safe and healthy weekend. God's blessings to one and all!
