Well, another weeks vacation done. Whew! I'v e had to come back to work to rest up LOL.  I finished the Dinning Room!!!   #whew#  Talk about a job - started out as a 2 day job and what's it been? 3 weeks?? Anyway, It's a wonderful feeling to have it done and an even greater feeling that I was able to accomplish it myself.

Went and splurged with a haircut yesterday. I donated what was cut off. They took a little over 14 inches and it's still shoulder length. I figured that since it took 20 minutes to comb out yesterday morning that it was time to share the wealth. I jumped in the truck and headed over to Cost Cutters and got right in. I wasn't leaving until it was cut let me tell ya!

Mt. Washmore has been whittled down to a mere mole hill.   #laundry#   I made use of my cloths line for whiat I fear will be close to the last time this year. Bummer. It's suppose to rain this morning then be nice until Tuesday. Then cool off again.

The leaves are turning color and falling faster than you could shake a stick at. #rake# It's that time that most everyone in my neighborhood has out the rakes and bags. Not me tho. I fluff them up whith the rake to dry out and mow them down a couple times to mulch. I did do some poop patrol tho. That was a MUST to clean up.

I cooked up about 6 pounds of chicken yesterday for a huge pot of chicken soup. Everything is ready to simmer later today then whatever is left after tomorrow I'll can. Mmmmmm, I can smell that soup already. #cook#  It'll be so nice to have on hand. I can open a jar and either toss in noodles of choice while it heats or make dumplings with it with no fuss. I LOVE canning!!

Not sure what else to add. I'm off again next week and plan on working in the bacement and cleaning out more meat from the freezer. My pastor is giving me more venison so will again BBQ some for sandwiches, make soup and stew for the canner and can some up with onions and a tad of garlic.  There again makes for a quick and tasty (not to mention nutritious) meal.

Have a wonderful day everyone. Hoping to see you tonite when I return.
