What a week! Saturday, 08 Sept 07

 Hi all! Well,  No, I did NOT finish the dining room LOL. I just finished mudding yesterday. I primmed the ceiling last night before coming in. I'll do the walls today. The windows and trim are all primed and painted (and look good if I say so myself)ready to go back up. Carpet is a waiting. Have the Ceiling Fan light fixtures sparkling clean and new energy efficient bulbs ready to put in. Can't wait to have a candle dinner in my "new" dinning room! 

I did make the manicotti Thursday. Turned out real good. I had a fresh tomato that I added to the sauce and wow, what a difference!!! Yummy! Had some of the leftovers for dinner yesterday. It's cooling off a lot so will make that chilli today. Mmmmm, can taste it already. I might whip up some corn bread to go with it.

Need to do a couple loads of laundry to keep the hill from turning into that Mt LOL. Will prime the walls and paint the ceiling as well. Tomorrow will see how I feel. I may or may not paint the walls. I like to keep Sundays as a day of rest - or at least semi-rest. See how I feel.

It's become fall like around here. I've maple leaves that are turning color and falling quickly.

High's in the low 60's for a while. It's about 48 right now.
