Morning all. I'm back from vacation - I'll work the weekend then off another 7 days.

I found wonderful produce at the Farmer's market last Saturday. I canned a couple dozen pints of beans, one and a half pints of carrots, same amount of baby spuds, half dozen pints of carrots, and one and a half half pints of pears. I've more pears to can but am thinking of making pear sauce instead.  Can't wait until the apples are ready around here. I'm drooling for apple butter! MMMMMMMM, fresh apple butter on warm fresh home made wheat bread - now that's living .

I didn't do the windows as planned. It rained all last week. I did scrub down and organize a quarter of my bacement. I installed new flooring (peel and stick tile) and it looks so nice. Can't wait to do another quarter although my body says to give it a break LOL.

Last night I pulled off the floor boards and window trim in the dinning room. I need to sand them down so I can prime and paint - I am regretting taking down the window trim tho. I found dry rot behind it. Uff Da! Now I need to figure out how to fix that while staying in my very tight budget.

Well, ambulance just went out. Better go get things ready. Have a great day everyone!
