A Hot and Muggy Wednesday, 25 July 07

Hi all. It's hot and muggy - finally reached us although not as bad as mid to upper 90's. Was 87 yesterday. Not very good sleeping weather at all. I didn't get to bed until 9am as I had to make some phone calls. I ended up getting up around 1230 and have been up ever since. I rented a storage unit from a good friend of mine and took a load of stuff I cleaned out of DD's closet (the stuff I had in there and hadn't moved out yet) over as well as some other boxes. Am doing double duty with the unit. Will use it to store stuff I don't want DD to get her hands on and use it to store stuff I still use and want but not use often enough to warrent having it clutter up the house. This way DD won't be able to rifle thru stuff and leave a mess. I'll now do gradual loads while she's in school or away from home so it's not so noticable. (I hope)
I also shredded a huge bag of papers I no longer needed. I was sweatin away! Steamed some brocolli for dinner and called it good. Am snacking on yogurt right now.

Today I plan on taking another load of boxes over to the unit - mind you, I've had these boxes packed and labled already so it's a matter of loading them up and taking them over. I also need to clean the living room and dining room. . I'm finding furry dust bunnies (pet hair) again and the windows need washing. I also need to head over to my garden and do some weeding but I'll wait for cooler weather.

Dinner tonite depends. If I'm alone again it'll be steamed green beans and brocolli with ham bits tossed in. I've some peaches ready in the fridge  to put over biscuits for desert. If DD is home, hmmmmm, I'll maybe add corn on the cob or grill a couple pieces of chicken.

I think either today or tomorrow will be "sheet day". Fresh sheets sound good about now.
