. Morning all. Had a very exciting morning yesterday after I last posted.
I was about to post a smart alec, sleep deprived post when a pregnant gal came in in labor! Uff da, talk about a fast scramble. She brought that babe into this world in a half hour!!!! God love her. I didn't get out of here until around 0815. We don't do deliveries here anymore - all the OB's go to the sister hospital in the town I live in. We generally transfer them either private car or ambulance but there just wasn't time. Uff da! Exciting. Reminds me of my OB days.

Picked an ice cream pail of blue berries last evening. It was truely the perfect evening for it. So breezy and cool - gusts of 35-40 mph. Not a bug to be found. Went out to my dad's land and picked.

My folks "tossed a bone" my way. My dad has 15 acres about 2 miles from them and have said I could have the front two for a dwelling if I wanted. Ach...... what to do???? The land is sandy with tons of different varieties of pine - quite a bit of Jack Pine. (how I love to listen to the wind going thru the pines) Has a huge patch of blueberries (of which I picked an ice cream pail full yesterday and will go back after work this morning), wild raspberries, blackberries, wild strawberries, sits in a spot with a wonderful breeze and if you set a cabin in there just right you'll have shady summers and sunshine in winter. Plenty of 'breathing room", plus I'd have roam of all 15 acres. Sigh.....Then there's the comute to work - gas went up to 3.45 here. It'd add 5 minutes of drive time, winter driving would continue to be a "PITA",  I'd need to keep my Church job so either way I'd be commuting a couple times a week. Uff da!! Decisions, decisions. What would you do? I don't want but a 1-2 bedroom place as it's all I'll need. So much to think about. There are many pros and cons which I didn't bore you with all of them but there are strong cases for both sides. another sigh..... I'll keep praying and let God tell me what he wants.

Planning on making blueberry muffins today. I'm off tonite - am thinking of treating my daughter to see the Harry Potter movie this afternoon. We'll see. I have a chiropractor  apt at 2:40 so will maybe go to the 3:30 or 4:30 one. Of course, there is one at 12:30 but she'll be in school so guess that takes care of that.
