Good morning everyone. Chilly here - maybe hit 70 yesterday. Cloudy, dreary day. I made a dump run and got rid of some really smelly garbage as I found the nasty cause -  a package of venison that my loving daughter pulled out of the freezer and it "somehow" fell behind it" and she couldn't retrieve it. The freezer is out in the garage and it happened this winter sometime - Uff da!! That's pretty much it for the day. I wasn't feeling well before I took the garbage out and had a nasty case of the queasies when I returned. I sipped on some ginger tea and re-read a book. I felt better in time to go to my nutrition class held by my Chiropractor. She had a ton of info she went over. When I got home, I found that daughter and friend had made chocolate chip cookies. What a mess - to their credit for the first time they did do up the dishes and put stuff away. They will be taking them to school tomorrow as a last day of school treat.

Today I need to do up some laundry and mop floors. They get sandy and yucky so quickly. Last night I made chicken and fried spuds (I know, they aren't exactly good for you but dd had made bacon and left grease and bacon bits in the cast iron pan. They tasted good  ) tonite will be either grilled salmon or burger soup. I may just make the soup in the slow cooker. I also need to make juice. DD decided she likes my fresh juice so drinks it faster than I can make it. I don't mind except  I would like some too.  The grocerie had nectorines and braeburn apples on sale so I'll try a combo of that.

Checked on my garden and pulled a few weeds. It's really looking good. I wish I was able to take and post pictures for you to see. I can't believe how good everything looks. Now if only the deer and rabbit behave themselves.... Ha Ha!

Suppose to be fairly nice this weekend so will try to tackle the windows - say a little prayer ok?? Windows are very old, need caulking,glazing, painting along with cleaning. In order to do all that I'll need to take them apart then re-assemble. I've done a couple others, it's just that if one breaks, we don't have a window repair in town anymore.Could get tricky.
