Last day of May - 31 May 07

Good evening everyone. Working my lovely bi-weekly 3-11 shift. We know how I just love working those - NOT LOL. Had a fairly nice day outside today. Showers off and on, a downpour around 2pm ish then sunny and clear. 80 and humid. My plants are lovin this weather. Suppose to rain all weekend but that's fine by me as I'm working all weekend and I sleep better when it's raining.

Nice suprise tonite. One of the EMT's is working a double shift so when I got here I gave her a massage to help her get thru the shift. Well, she appreciated it so much she bought me dinner. Let me tell ya, Sweet n Sour chicken was so much tastier than the oatmeal I brought.  The chinese place that makes it steams the veggies just the way I like them. hot but still crunchy. They don't drown it in a sauce either. Just the steamed peppers, onions, carrots and heated pineapple chuncks tossed with breaded chicken. Then you get 2 scoops of rice on the side. Good for me as I can't eat a lot of white rice at one sitting - that and the heavy sauces usually send my blood sugars soaring. I ate half the portion and will have the other half for lunch tomorrow. Gosh, how lucky was I??? The only not so good for ya part was the breaded deep fry chicken but again, I watched my portions - I should get 2 more servings of those. I'll have one for lunch then put one in the freezer.

Been fairly steady tonite and looks like another "customer" pulled in so have to go. Wishing all well and sending those fuzzies!
