TGIF!! Friday, 27 April 07

Good Friday morning everyone. Hope all are well. Yesterday was another cool, grey day without the benefits of rain. It stayed south of us. We are already about an inch or two below what we need in the moisture dept.  I did a couple loads of laundry, dinner was the turkey burgers. Mmmmm good. 

This morning I have a chiropractor appt after work, I need to do some grocery shopping (I recently picked up a couple nice heavy canvas bags that I use and at the grocery store one gets a 5% discount for using your own bags!!), the dog needs a bath and a good brush (any of you have a good remedy for itchy dry dog skin???), pay some bills, take a nap!!   This weekend is suppose to be real nice and sunny so will be doing a lot of outside chores (I'm off this weekend). Saturday morning I'll be doing the weeks baking, a general cleaning, mop the floors, and then get outside. Sunday I'll go to church, do pantry and freezer inventory, and read the couple magazines I got in the mail yesterda - oh, and make out the weeks menu. Monday will be a huge laundry day and that'll be pretty much it I"m sure. I may just stay in the bacement and do some much needed cleaning down there while laundry chugs along.

Dinner tonite will be a simple salad as my daughter works until 10:30. Tomorrow is prom so she won't be home for dinner then either. I'm thnking stir fry. Sunday will be grilled fish, spuds and green beans.

My starter veggies are looking very good. Nice and healthy. Will be starting some flowers this weekend as well as the above chores. Uff da - I need a vacation LOL.

I read the description of your blog, here is an 'urban garden' I thought you might be interested in, they have a few pictures and a diagram of their yard and how they utilize their space, it's kind of neat.
