Good morning everyone. Hope all are well and safe. My daughter is home again. I am praying she learned something but she's not acting that way. Things quickly returned back to the way things were. - Uff da that girl!! Bout all I can do is embrace the good moment and the other 99% of the time I hang on tight and pray.
Those seeds I've got soaking will need to be planted soon. I've some "Jiffy Pellets" I'll put on to soak this morning and plant them this afternoon. I'll start the other seeds soaking then. Guess I'd better raid the break room for newspaper to start making the pots for transplanting. I start small and when the roots get just so, transplant to the larger pots before putting them in the garden. The newspaper breaks down nicely and I don't worry about netting or peat pots that didn't decompose. Besides, I don't have to pay for the newspaper. Just have to fold it.
I've some marigold seeds I'll get going too. They nicely repel the bunny's in my home garden - not so much in my garden at my Dad's but there's a lot more of them - deer too. I keep telling him to train his "pets" to stay out of my garden LOL.
The snow is almost melted off my front yard. It'll be close to another month before I can get to the back yard but at least I'll have an excuse LOL.I think I'll get those gutters cleaned out this weekend. They are yucky. I've a never been used plastic garbage can I was given that I'm putting at the end of one of the gutters to catch rain water. I'll use that for watering. I may be given another as well so will be doubbly (?sp) blessed and use some for washing the truck. Sigh, I think it's those little things in life.
Well, I need to get back to work. Hope everyone has a great day. See ya all in the morning.
LOL, Ge dag...

Uff da. Oh, my Norwegian roots. Ya, sure. We still have family in the old country, and they seem to eat better than the ludefisk here, although both they and I love lefse. Especially how my Granma makes it, with butter, sugar and cinnamon. You betcha. Good stuff. Third generation Scandinavian-American here. Family in Norway and Finland, mostly Lapland and the islands on the North Sea shore of Norway. (edit: family also in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, The Dakotas, and the Pacific North West, where I live. My ex wife was Polish/Norwegian, with family in the same places, although mostly Michigan and Wisconsin. Her maiden name was Knutsen. My kids are very proud of their Norwegian/Polish roots.)
As another single parent, if you ever need another person to talk to, let me know. I am fortunate that my children haven't followed my path, but I understand the need to speak with others about the trials of being a (especially single) parent. Feel free to PM (personal message) me if you ever need someone to talk to.
Peace be with you and yours.
Raymond
