Good Wednesday Morning everyone! Whew, what a busy weekend here in the ER!!! It never stopped. One day off is never enough. I was sooooo tired Monday I slept the day away. I fell asleep somewhere between Psalm 127 and 128! Yesterday I was up, did my morning devotion then cleaned the bathroom and hallway and most of the dining room. I measured the hall for a carpet rement next time I go to Menards - not that I want carpet mind you but I have a few friends that are realtors and they are telling me that carpet is the thing. As long as folks are aware there's hardwood under it,  they tend to go with nice light warm tone carpet. Sigh....... Besides, there are a few areas where there use to be a floor vent and somewhere along the line someone took them out and put particle board in - and not too nicely either. I've searched antique catalogs, the internet and home stores and have yet to find floor registers to fit the "holes" - the ones I've found are too small. I think it'll just be cheaper to lay carpet. My aunt is tearing down one of the small barns and is saving me the salvageable barnwood so that when I move, I will be sure to have the opportunity to have my wood floors.

I'm going to have to climb Mt. Washmore soon! I can't believe how it can pile up. Good thing I'm off this weekend. Between cleaning out from the snow and all the house cleaning I have to do I think I'll need to take some vacation time to recover

We ended up with 8 inches of snow this weekend but are expecting another 12-16 tonite and tomorrow. Blizzard conditions too. Uff da!! Since I'm scheduled to work thru all this, I'm planning to come in early and sleep in a call room then Thursday morning, I've an appointment to see my doctor for my diabetes so will remain here until at least 1000. I'll evaluate the weather then as far as my driving the 25 miles home. I hate to leave my dog and cats for that long but that simply can't be helped. I'm checking with my neighbors to see if they'd maybe let my poor dog out in the event I can't get home. I am looking forward to moving closer to work and this sort of thing won't be an issue. I pray the whole way here and the whole way back home then once safe and sound, rejoyce and thank God over and over for watching over me.

It's about time to do that spring cleaning! Actually, I don't mind it too much. I've decided I'm going to colaborate cleaning with getting the house ready for sale so f resh paint and such are in the cards this year. Then everything will be all fresh and new. Also down sized!! That's always a huge project isn't it????

I was thinking just yesterday about spring cleaning. I really have mixed emotions about it, LOL.
