Yuck, the flu is here!

Good Sunday morning all. I wish I could say all is well but...... That stomach ailement was just a warm up for what lay ahead!! I've been very sick since Wednesday - yup, the flu. Uff da but am I miserable. I'm still not feeling very well but if I missed tonite that would have been three and I'd need a MD note to come back. Where do you go for a MD release on a Sunday??? Sure not paying for a ER visit for that!!!! My sugars are all over the place - anywhere from 50 to 260 and I've been spilling traces of ketones. I did keep down some chicken soup and crackers yesterday but I'm feeling pretty icky right now. I've been in bed for 3 days straight. I've pulled out masks to wear if any patients come in.

Well, things are looking fuzzy so I'll go for now. I'm not sure if I'll be in tonite or not so I'll wish everyone a good Monday too. I'm back Tuesday night so will hopefully see ya all then.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!! I have two sick at home. Hope everyone gets well by thanksgiving!
