My Loving Home

Back to "normal"

Well, Hubby is back to work today; I'm missing  him tremendously. I think it is especially hard on the little ones who have no sense of days and times. All they know is Daddy is not here, and they miss him. Our youngest called, "Da-da, Da-da" as we descended the stairs this morning. He looked around so eagerly, and was quite disappointed when Da-da wasn't here. Hubby is such a good Daddy, spending as much time with the children and me as he can. He is a blessing to us all.

Some Christmas cards are still trickling in. I mailed one this morning to "our" missionary family that we love and pray for. I don't care when the cards arrive; I'm just so happy to hear from friends and family at any time of the year!

I'm off to finish a scarf, which will be a next-year's Christmas present for my oldest daughter. I'm very committed to getting a head-start on presents!

Blessings from my home to yours!

I am too already thinking about presents for next Christmas! I'm wanting to do a lot of homemade, handcrafted things...so I better get started soon, as well!

How are you making your scarf?? I recently started to learn how to knit...about 2 months ago now, I think. I'm still working thru making all the kids a scarf {the one I'm working on now, and then one more} plus I had made a couple for Christmas gifts. I'm hoping to learn some new stitches to make even "fancier" ones next year!

Thanks & have a good evening!
