Cleaning and Tidying

I've been deep cleaning and tidying my kitchen .... de-cluttering the countertops, cleaning the appliance fronts, sorting and throwing away displaced papers, organizing cookbooks, etc. Everything looks so much better, and there is even a permanent "home" on the counter for my bread machine. Having it out, next to the canisters, makes the daily bread-making such an easier task.

I added a piece of wallpaper border behind my stove, under the range hood. It's a Susan Winget design from several years ago, and I think it really "perks up" the kitchen, especially the cooking and baking area.

I'm getting mentally ready for Spring cleaning. I hope to do "the works": closets, drawers, some painting, etc. At least that's the plan right now!

Looks like you have been working hard. But as far as spring goes...I'm not sure when that will be...considering we are buried under 26 inches of snow. But glad to see you thinking ahead. Will check back again soon.
