Last-minute shopping

We did a bit of last-minute shopping this morning; Walmart was extremely busy! But we needed a few more baking supplies: M&Ms for cookies, brownie mixes, and a chocolate cake mix. All of the shoppers seemed very intent on finishing their shopping, too, and the wait in the check-out line was reasonable.

The wind was from the south last night, so today began fairly warm. While we were out, the wind direction changed to the NW, and it is now brisk! Hubby is lighting a fire in the woodstove, and I'm off to start a coffeepot filled with Caramel Truffle flavored coffee. Yum!
