Happy as a pig in slop!

I am so excited! I have been hunting for a pressure canner all over! You see I really don't like to buy much of anything new (except underwear) due to the outrageous costs! I just found out that Goodwill has a web site and an online bidding system like ebay. I found a 22 quart Presto canner in terrific shape in MI ( I'm in KY) and it was purchased and shipped for $30.00. Yep! I cannot wait to begin by adventures in canning! Now if only spring would hurry up so I can get my garden going! AHHH! The simple things that can make this girl happy!

Great deal! Canning is so rewarding! The ripe tomatoes in mid-winter are the best!
