How come things look smaller?

Like if you go on vacation, and bring a certain doll with you, when you get home the rest of the dolls look really small? I've been looking at my brand new teddy bear Shia, and when I looked at one of my Barbie dolls her head, body, and face looked really small. It's really weird. Thanks for reading my blog!!!
