It's never easy to say good-bye to a person that has made an impact on your life. It's even harder when that person is someone you only spent a couple days with once, spoke with only a couple of times since then and was looking forward to seeing again this summer. Wendy Howerter was such a person in my life. I met her and her family at a homestead gathering last June following Carla Emery to Wendy's homestead after Carla spoke at our place. Wendy was a soft spoken woman. The love she had for our Lord and her family shined brightly from her face. She willingly shared her story and her convictions without making you feel uncomfortable. She opened my eyes to new ideas. The tears I shed now are for all that knew Wendy, not for Wendy herself. She is cradled in the bosom of our Lord. Wendy, you were loved while here on earth and now you rest You are greatly missed. Blog readers, if you believe and pray, please keep Wendy's husband, Tim and their young children wrapped in prayer.
