God was with me last night

Posted in Family

Driving home from work (60 miles from home) I travel country roads. Last night I saw a deer cross in front of a car in front of me. Knowing they don't travel alone, I lifted my foot to brake and a voice said, "Maintain your speed". As I put my foot back down (I was on cruise control), I heard an explosion directly behind me!

I had to drive a couple miles to pull off and to my amazement both side windows (I have a minivan) were gone. The vehicle that was behind me pulled off with me and the angel that was driving made sure I was okay and that I had a phone.

It wasn't until I got home 30 minutes later that it hit me that if I would have slowed down, the deer would have hit directly on my driver's side window.

THANK YOU LORD for traveling with me last night and guiding my actions. THANK YOU LORD for sending an angel to comfort me.

GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!

Praise the Lord that HE kept you safe while driving home last night!!!! I hope it doesn't cost your family too much to replace the windows!
God Bless you!

Thursday, November 9, 2006 - just the deductible

Even though we paid cash for the van a couple years ago, I've kept full coverage on it. There's about $1800 damage and we have a $250 deductible.

I've been saving for a Kromski Harp Loom & stand. I have just about $250 saved for that loom .... time to start saving again!

Sales from my soaps & yarns go into my Loom savings.

I feel in AWE of hearing the Lord speak to me and keeping me safe.

That is an amazing story!...I never get tired of hearing about "Godincidences" (a Mom in our homeschooling group uses that phrase, and I love it...because, there are no "coincidences"!!)

Wow.

Blessings on you and your family as you savour these after-moments of God's touch.

Oh, you listen to the voice, Praise God. We had a dear friend that was killed by a deer that hit through the passenger side of her friends truck. Materials things can be fixed and replaced. All that was in Gods timing, knowing about how deer behave, hearing and doing what you needed to do and then the peace of it. Praise God. thanks for sharing tc linda
