Good News

I really hate listening to News programs!

I know that there is plenty of good stuff going on out there, but they only want to tell us about the awful stuff.

I've had enough of listening to the devil's activities being glorified!

I heard Joyce Meyer say that someone ought to start a good news program.

Now, I would love to listen to that!

Come on, leave me a good news comment.  What kind of good things are going on in and around you?!?

We are heading to South Carolina on Monday!

Since I don't get on the computer on Sundays, I wanted to tell you all good-bye.  I'll 'see' you when we get back.

I am not going to get our monthly newsletter out until I return in two weeks.

Hey, that gives everyone a chance to sign up for the newsletter if they haven't yet.  ;D

Still Counting

The kids are still counting!

Two days until the last day of school and 6 days until we leave for South Carolina.

I'm still not ready.  I'm going to hit some "junk" stores this week to finish picking up shorts, sandals, and stuff like that.

It is a large undertaking to pack up a family this size and head out for almost two weeks.

Okay, I need your best tips!

This is our first family vacation.

Usually, my husband just takes a couple of kids with him on a trip.

What do I take????

We are going to South Carolina (from New York) for about two weeks.

That is a lot of stuff to pack for a crew this size.

Help!

My friend Jenefer is hosting a giveaway contest for Rosetta Stone!

Rosetta Stone is the fastest way to learn a language and has been the #1 foreign language curriculum among homeschoolers for a while — and you can WIN the *all new* version 3 Rosetta Stone Homeschool LATIN program… FOR FREE! This is the first year you can get Latin in the brand new Version III update.

This is a $259 program (and believe me it’s worth every penny!)
This is a computer based curriculum and Rosetta Stone will also include a headset with microphone, and a supplementary “Audio Companion” CD so you can practice lessons in the car, on the go, or where-ever! Students participate in life-like conversations and actually produce language to advance through the program. Rosetta Stone incorporates listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary and writing along with speaking and pronunciation lessons. For parents, the new Parent Administrative Tools are integrated into the program to allow parents to easily enroll up to ten students in any of 12 predetermined lesson plans, monitor student progress, grade completed work (the program grades the work automatically as the students progress- I love that!), and you can view and print reports for transcripts. Homeschooling a lot of kids at your house? This program is designed to enroll and track up to ten students (five users on two computers) and will work for nearly all ages — from beginning readers up to college students.

To win this most excellent Latin program copy these paragraphs and post them in (or as) your next blog post, and/OR link to the contest from your facebook page and/OR email the information to your homeschool support group – Then go to the original page http://jeneralities.com/?p=541986 for all the info. It really is EASY to enter!

Hubby and I went to look at an RV today.

I loved it!  It was big enough for our crew and the man only wanted 7,000 dollars for it.

Hmm, now all I need is 7,000 dollars!
