Something I do well

{ 12:03, Monday, January 14, 2008 } { Posted in My hobbies } { 4 comments } { Link }

For a while having my blogs seemed to depress me.  Reading other blogs showing all the things they do made me feel a bit small.  Life with 6 children can make day-to-day life a challange.

Anyway, I have not blogged for a while (except for my last entry which was also done today) so I have been trying to think of something I do well to blog about.  Here it is.....

CAKES! - - - - I like to do cakes, especially for my children's birthdays.  I took my first Wilton cake decorating class in 1995.  I have been hooked ever since.  Here are some pictures I would like to share of cakes I have done.

That is not all of them but it is a sampling of something I do well.

Thanks for reading......I feel better now.

Just because you don't do what everyone else does doesn't make you any less than anyone else. Hey, you've made six kids and I only have three, does that make me a bad mother, NOPE, LOL LOL.
The pictures didn't show up for me but Im sure they are beautiful, that is something I've always wanted to learn how to do, but Im just beginner at it........have blessed day........Kitty

Congratulations on getting an acre in the country out of the city. I'd like to do that, but time will tell if we ever will since my husband is so attached to this house. My sister-in-law used to make beautiful cakes for her children, staying up until 4 a.m. finishing them. I've never done well with cakes - I know it can be quite an art. Happy country living! Your goats are cute too. (I put my pictures on photobucket.com. It works well for me. Jill

I know what it is like to feel down..... all from comparing myself with others!!!!!! Yuck!!! I am who God made me to be and as long as I am living in a way that pleases God then my talents and time are being spent wisely!!
Fellow, understander of the comparison trap!
