Did The Bride Wear White??
Hello! How are you all? I hope you are doing good!
Please pray for my family! We were just told that we had to move by next January. Please pray that we will be able to find a house for our size that is affordable.
I have a question for you girls. How valuable is you'r purity? On the night before I turned 13, I made a promise to God that I would stay sexually pure until I was married. That was one of the biggest decisions I ever made, but I don,t regret it.
Many women today give themselves away to the first cute guy. You see it all the time on movies and TV.
I want to be able to give my husband the greatest gift I could ever give him--
--- my purity.
Several weeks ago I read a book called Every Young Woman's Battle by Susan Ethridge. It covers everything on purity you could think of,but I must warn you that it is very blunt and is more for teen girls.
I put a pink sheer ribbon on our tree out front to remind me of my promise to God.Every time I walk past I see that ribbon, fluttering in the wind.
I also believe in second chances. God is merciful.
And you know,if someone has hurt you sexually and you don't feel pure, you need to realize that you are still pure in God's eyes.I understand how that feels, not feeling pure. But you ARE!!
" What I got is priceless,
What I got is special,
What I got is precious."
Nicole C. Mullen
TREASURE you'r purity!!!!!!
I'd like to thank all of you who commented!!
I LOVE IT when you all comment!! |

Beautiful
LOSE THAT TUMMY FAT!
That was the title of a magazine I recently saw at a grocery store. The thin, young woman who was modeling, proudly held up her shirt to show a flat belly.
Todays world is totally obsessed with beauty and weight.Your face and weight matters more than your heart does.Even Christian girls nowadays are laying the make up thick and making sure their pants are hip huggers and skin tight instead of striving to be more like him.
No,I am not perfect.I gawk at the mirror and try to make sure I don't have a pimple,or my hair is just right. I smile a few times at myself to make sure my teeth are clean, then flip my hair. Oh,dear.
You know, some of the most beautiful women I have ever met are not very pretty. They have a plain face and they don't weigh 120 lbs.
My Grandma Chris for one.She was the most godly woman I knew. My Grandma owned two cats,Katy, and Bobby Sue.They both loved to sleep in my Grandma' s sewing room. One day, while Grandma was cutting fabric,Katy knocked off a VERY sharp fabric cutter that fell on Grandma's foot.It sliced right through her shoes and through muscle. I later asked her why she didn't get mad.She told me,
"Getting mad wouldn't have solved anything.Would yelling heal my toe?" What an eye opener!
She had such inner beauty.I could see Jesus shining through every time I saw her.She was so beautiful inside that it started to shine through.Grandma Chris died on April 6,2005.I miss her incredibly.
My Mother is another beautiful woman.Every time I see her talk about God a light comes in her eyes.
I know lots of other ladies who are beautiful. Some are physically beautiful, but because they are beautiful inside they are radiant.
I want have that kind of beauty, don't you?
"Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."Proverbs 31:30

What's your purpose??
So how did all of you do with the challenge? I did alright but I could have done better.
Have you ever realized how fragile life is? I have. It's very upsetting to hear about young people dying. It's very scary to think in 2 seconds I could be gone too. I think it's really amazing how God puts us on earth for a purpose and when our purpose is accomplished He takes us home. Sometimes I can't see what that person did in his life time, especially babies. Sometimes I wonder what God's purpose was for them while they were on earth? I had a sister who passed away about 4 years ago. I still don't know what her purpose was. I know in heaven God will tell me what her purpose was. Maybe she taught me something?
I think it is really cool how God knows exactly how many minutes, sec. hours, days and weeks we are going to live. He even knows how many times I am going to breathe in and how many times I will breathe out. There is this song that I hear on the radio that says, "I can't even take one breath without you giving it to me." Wonder what I will do? What is my purpose here on earth? Will I save people, bring them to Jesus? Maybe I will be a mom or a missionary? I wonder what my children will say about me when I am older? Was I a good mom?
Do you ever wonder what you are on earth for? Do you ever wonder what God has in store for you? What His plan is? We only see a part of the picture He is painting of our lives. If we could see the whole painting I think it would be very dull. It's good we can only see a little.
Maybe you could spend the next few days in prayer asking God to show you His purpose for your life. I will do the same. Love to you all! |

My introduction.......
Hi! My name is Morgan and I am 14. With my parents permission I am starting this blog as a way to minister to girls my age or those close to my age. I will be writing articles and testimonies that I hope will help others. They will be what I am learning or have learned.
Well I guess I will tell you a little bit more about myself. I am the oldest of 8 children. My siblings are Josiah 10, Zeke 9, Gabriellia 7, Quentin 5, Micah 4, Isaac 2, ZaraLayna 8 months.
My Mama's name is Ambra but I bet alot of you know that already! My daddy's name is John.
My Mama printed off for me the Teen's Commandements For Christian Youth
|
Teen Commandments
For Christian Youth |
1. Don’t break your parent’s hearts by following the world; they’ve given of themselves for you.
2. Be careful of the friends with whom you associate, for what they do, you will be tempted to do.
3. Don’t let your habits get the mastery over you; you must learn well to control them.
4. Be careful of the way you spend your time on earth; use it wisely to serve Him.
5. It’s easy to become wishy-washy in this world; Know what you believe and why.
6. Don’t become anxious about getting married; wait for God to send the right girl or guy.
7. Don’t get caught up in serving yourself; to serve others is better by far.
8. Set the guard of conscience over your mind, for what you think, you are.
9. Don’t feast on the sensual delights of this world; it’s much better to sup with Christ.
10. Live your life completely for Him; for your soul, He paid a great price!
I really like them! The one that struck me the most was the first one that says my parents give of THEMSELVES!!
I am sometimes not thankful for what my parents do for me. I complain, complain, complain. I know it's annoying. You know how a bee buzzes in your ear? Well, thats how complaining is!!
Proverbs 10:19 says, "When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise."
Philippians 2:14: "Do everything without complaining or arguing."
I like these verses. So he who holds his tongue is wise. I like that!
I am going to stop complaining! I know it's annoying when other people complain so why should I? Maybe you girls know some verses on complaining?
The challenge for you is:
Try not to complain for a couple of days! When you want to complain instead think of what you are thankful for such as, You don't like changing your baby brother or sister's diaper? Well, be thankful you even have a little brother or sister!! You're life would be very BORING without them!!!
