A little bit of Christmas in June
Last night I was looking out the window in ds2's room out into the island that sits in the middle of our driveway and I saw all these little twinkling lights. I got a wee bit excited thinking it was fireflies, but we don't have them here and the lights were moving too fast anyway. I showed dh and he solved the mystery for me. Our front post light up at the gate was reflecting off the wet palm fronds of one of the palm trees in the island. It reminded me so much of a Christmas tree with the lights dancing merrily. Such a beautiful and peaceful sight.Leave a Comment
