Thursday's Threesome - May 25, 2006

What are your three favorite names for a horse?

* Blaze (ds1 and I love the Billy and Blaze books and when he gets a horse that's what he plans on naming it)

* Lightning (that's what ds1 has nicknamed a horse that resides at a house on our road a couple of miles north of us)

* Daisy (that's what I would name MY horse - ds1 tells me that's a cow name, but I think it sounds so bright and cheerful and would be perfect for a horse)

What was/is the name of your first pet?

His name was Joe-Joe and he was a collie.

My daughter is the horse lover in our family -
so she is the one who would have 3 favorite names.
And we did not have pets when I was growing up -
the closest we got were gold fish.

And please be sure to post that bread recipe when you locate it. I really did enjoy baking bread -
we did have a bread maker for a while, but it was just not the same.
And I will look for that recipe that I used to make.
