Busy Monday Ahead

Whew!  Vacation is fun, but I hate returning home to have to do mounds of laundry, get everything put away (including all the things purchased on the trip), and unfortunately clean up the mess from remodeling that I wasn't supposed to have to clean up.  Most of the remodeling mess nightmare that we returned to find was cleaned up immediately upon our return home (amidst me fuming and crying), but we keep finding more things here and there so hopefully I'll have time to look everything over carefully today.  Mt. Laundry awaits me and I'll get as much done of it as I can.

The furbabies came home from the kennel this morning and are already in bum mode.  I can tell they are very happy to be home though.  The oldest dog had a bacterial problem the day before we left so the vet got that cleared up while we were gone, but now the youngest dog has it.  I'm going to have to keep a close eye on him to make sure we don't have any accidents in the house.  The middle dog has escaped the problem and hopefully won't develop it.

The forecast calls for a 40% chance of rain later today and I sure hope we get it.  The wildfires have ravaged this area so badly already and the rain is desperately needed.

Hope you can have a bit of rest too friend. It sounds like a pretty busy day on your homestead.
