Do you wear makeup?

I was thinking about that very question this morning while putting on some tinted moisturizer and blush.  I don't wear makeup, with the exception of church and going somewhere special (like this morning). 

I stopped wearing makeup years ago, mainly due to living in tropical climates and it seemingly melting off my face as fast as I put it on.  When we started our natural living and organics path a few years ago, I became even more against wearing it.  What I do wear now is Burt's Bees and only the 2 items I mentioned.

My thoughts drifted this morning to the homeschool stamp club meeting we attended earlier this week.  The faces of three other moms came into my mind and it dawned on me that not a one of us wore a bit of makeup.  How cool that we weren't all made up and felt comfortable in our own skin. ~smile~

I don't wear makeup... don't even own any. Haven't in a few years.

Like you I only wear makeup for special occassions and then it is Mascara and a bit of lip stick! I do love Burt Bee's lip balm!

I do wear make-up. I stopped wearing make-up temporarily when I was a teenager and someone pulled me to the side and told me I should never do that again and to get some make-up back on, or I'd lose my then fiance. (now my hubby) My hubby thought that was ridiculous, but I figured if I looked so terrible that a family member had to talk to me about it, I guess I needed it!

Through the years I have talked to my hubby about it and he does like for me to wear it. However, lately that is changing. He doesn't prefer as much make-up anymore, he likes me to look more natural.

My skin is blotchy and my eyes are tiny, so I wear pretty much the full gambit I suppose. (foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, powder, sometimes lip gloss, rarely lipstick)

I quit wearing it in high school when I rubbed my allergy-infested eyes and turned my face black and blue and I thought "why am I doing this to myself?"
and, family members are often the last ones to listen to on this kind of thing - my parents are so into "what is always done" instead of what is more comfortable for the individual.

I seldom wear makeup. I use to when I was much younger. I'd rather go natural now.

I dont wear the stuff and have not in years.. I dont even own any.. I do have some lip balm I use..
