Friday's Feast - April 14, 2006Appetizer Large open room with 3 huge windows looking out onto our front porch with a view of our pond beyond that to the south. We have an enormous entertainment center overflowing with books, a stand alone 6 foot tall bookcase overflowing with books, and a cocktail table storage unit (all light wood). Our front door has a beautiful designed glass insert in the top half and when the sun sets each day the rays streaming through the glass create rainbows that play across the tile floor. There is a brick fireplace that needs a good scrubbing - LOL - and one wall is all cedar plank. Some of the plank is water stained from a chimney leak we had courtesy of Hurricane Wilma last fall. Hopefully this room is about to be remodeled soon. The tile floor will be replaced with laminate plank flooring we've already put in other rooms (looks like hardwood flooring - maple shade), the cedar planks are going to be drywalled over (the cedar attracks huge spiders here), and eventually we'll build a fireplace surround to give it a fresher look that goes with the rest of the remodeling we've done. No decision yet on a paint color for the walls and I'm not sure what we're doing with the closet by the front door. It's cedar lined and I'd say dh will leave that, but it badly needs some sort of organizational unit to take advantage of all the space. I have all kinds of glass vases and such sitting around full of seashells, sea beans, and sea glass plus other treasures I found washed up on the beach that I just thought were cool.
Soup Surfboards Hawaii.
Salad Labor with my first ds. He was too large for me to have and the pain was so much that I was sick and vomiting everywhere. Neither of my 2 c-sections had me in that much pain!
I have no idea - have to think on that one for a while.
