This weekend was my dear son's 13th birthday. We planned a camping trip to our own backyard. We had a great time. DS got lots of archery stuff so he and his dad spent a lot of time with that. We also had a nice fire in the fire bowl and we sat around and talked and goofed and just enjoyed being with one another. I'll try to post pictures later.

Sounds like an awesome time! We camped (actually, the kids camped) in our backyard this past spring and had a great time too. DH dug a pit and we had a small bonfire where we roasted marshmallows. :-)
