Good morning everyone

What a beautiful sunny morning in PA today.  I just love it when I wake up to sunshine.  I am enjoying a cup of hot tea and then we will be getting  ready shortly for church.  Then we have a busy day ahead of us.  We will do a few shopping runs to CVS and then superfresh.  Then we have to still get some of our garden in.  But we have been enjoying salad practically each evening from our garden.  And I sometimes eat some at lunch time, I just love fresh out of the garden lettuce.  After that John has to get some of the kitchen wiring finished, our cabinets are going to be installed on the 9th and we still have much to do before that.  Then they will take a template of the counter top, which takes 2-3 weeks to complete.    Well it's been "ok" so far with no oven or cook top to make dinner, the handy grill has really helped us.  And there is always the crock pot and my nesco to fall back on.  I did notice that by the end of the week they want it to be about 90 in PA.  I never thought warm weather would come, I have had shorts on twice I think so far. But I am sure the warmth will come quickly and I will hope for cooler air to come through.

Jaydon is in baseball he is the youngest on the team he is 7 and he plays with 8 and 9 year olds, he holds his own, I'll tell you.  He usually has a home run or two in each game, which is good since he is younger then the other boys.  Then he will join football in august.  Logan will follow also.  He LOVES any sport,  I can't tell you how many times I have tossed him the ball to hit in the back yard, he is 4 and wow can that boy hit.  When he was 2 we had a wiffle type ball and I tossed it to him and he slammed it right into my far head.  Everybody was outside watching and the look that boy got on his face, until I started to laugh, he thought he hurt me, well it did it hurt a little, but if that would have been a hard ball he would have knocked me out.  I started to laugh and then he did too.  He is very good in any ball type of sport he picks up, he hits the ball 90% of the time since he's about 2-3 years old.  They went to the Phillies game friday night and both boys loved it.  They had great seats compliments of a friend of Sue's.  Last year when they went they saw Danny Devito their and he came down into the bleachers and shook both the boys hands.  And yes my daughter said he is very short.  But a kind man she said.

I do have to sit down soon and post pictures of our demolition of the kitchen.  Wow what a mess right now but I am looking towards the next 6 weeks or so and then I will have the kitchen of my dreams.  We can't wait.  We pray this goes smoothly, but we always seem to get a glitch or two in the process of our remodling, hopefully it will be nothing major.

Well better run and get ready to start our day.  Have a wonderful Sunday on your homesteads, we will.

Blessings,

Lisa

We are currently a family of 10, changes are always a part of this family.
We have 8 children at home right.
We are in the process of our pre-adoptive placement with 5 children.
They are 4, 5 , 6, 8 and 9. Four girls and one boy.
And we have 4 daughters and 3 sons besides these 5.
After the adoption is complete we will have 12 children, my wonderful husband John and I that is.
We have been foster parents since 1992. We enjoy watching children make the most with what God has given them.
He is good!
