I had almost forgotten to share this with my dear friends, about 3 weeks ago I had gone to the doctor for a physical. Well lately, I had just started STOPPING eating when I had felt full, and there are some days I am so busy that it's going on 2:00 and I Forgot to eat lunch. Now you are reading a blog from someone who LOVES TO EAT! I have just been into getting things done around here, and not "worrying" about what i am eating next, which I tend to do as I said I LOVE FOOD. Well anyway, I haven't had ANY time to exercise since the kids came, which I haven't been that faithful anyway in walking since it's winter and I prefer to walk down at the park. Well I stood on the scale and low and behold it was 17 lbs lighter!! WOOO HOOO. I won't lie to you, I still enjoy a piece of cake if I want it, I just cut a much smaller piece. I also eat ice cream with magic shell butterscotch topping, cherries and chocolate syrup probably 2-3 times a week at night. You really can't feel neglected with food or it won't work. I am so happy. My doctor was just dumbfounded that I haven't exercised at all, I just cut my portions down and it worked. He said if I would have been exercising it would have been more. I plan on going back to walking when the weather gets bearable here in PA. He said maybe 5 more pounds, I said I would like to lose 10, but it made me feel so good that he thinks I need to maybe lose 5 lbs then I would be where he wants me. Now I just need to keep it off.
Tonight for dinner is spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, tossed salad and chocolate cake for dessert, OH that's where the cake comes into play.. Has anyone noticed how the price of pasta has gone up?? UGH, and we LOVE our pasta atleast once a week. I really need to track down some good deals for this.
I had gone to CVS early on Sunday to get there special two day deals, I got 2 12 packs of plastic easter eggs, 2 boxes of Hershey chocolates, 2 bags of jelly beans all FREE after and before ECB's. I paid with them with ECB's and got the full purchase price back for them in ECB's. You just can't beat their specials when they do this, I also got 5 tubes of toothpaste same deal and 1 Maybelline lip gloss same deal, ALL FREE. I put the lip gloss away as a stocking stuffer for someone..LOL.
We are all doing well. I will update with pictures soon.. I PROMISE. Everyone have a Blessed Easter and stay well.
