A little nervous

 Friends-

Today is a new beginning for us.  We are waiting for the last of the 3 of the sibling group to come live with us, we are feeling a bit nervous, but I guess that is normal since we are taking on 5 more children.  The two girls we have are adjusting well.  Many things have come to our attention about the children, and we are hoping we can handle this.  As many of you know, you are told a few things about kids and as the it comes to light there are many things that are coming out that were not in the profiles.  But so be it, we are leaning on God to help us all through this transition, the children and our family.   This morning I got a call they wouldn't be coming until Monday, one hour later yes they are coming.  It was icy this morning so our schools called "off" for the entire day, I really think they could have gone in 2 hours later, but of course not it's only raining now and is to be 50 out, so not sure why that was decided.  I just wanted to write a bit because I am feeling a bit anxious for some unknown reason.  Change is difficult for me but I know I will adjust. 

I just thought I would put a few of my feelings into words and ask for prayer for everyone involved here.  Thank you friends.

Monday would have been nice, we are down to one main bathroom, but it should (hopefully) by Sunday, Monday at the latest.  I plan on posting pictures of that also.  Good things take time I know.  But sometimes I wish things were done yesterday if you know what I mean

Thanks for your support and I know in a month or so it will be old news around here, with five new children.  We had planned a little superbowl snack/party for the kids, so atleast we can do that.  I really don't care who wins the superbowl since the Eagles didn't make it, but it's just fun to watch.  I am a basketball fan, football is ok, but I don't know what the plays are when they call them..LOL

I did get some great buys this week shopping hopefully I remember to post them later...

I am praying for you & your family as you integrate 5 new children into your home! I am sure that these children have some major emotional hurts that you will find as time goes on..... you are right very little is shared before placement.....I am not sure why this is done but parents sure need to know what to expect....I can imagine these kids have been thru a lot of hurt and pain. I am praying that the Lord blesses you with His grace & help thru this time of adjustment and changes for your family.

I do undertand..... we have been thru adoption 5 times and some of our kids came with some issues......
