Ranch Dressing

I'm not a fan of Ranch Dressing, but my Honey and Lambies like to dunk carrots into it.  It hasn't been in my fridge for over a year, but I came upon this recipe at A Mixed Bag of Nuts and thought I'd try it.  I'll update when I have an opinion (from my family, not me).

Ranch Dressing

1 ½ Cups Mayonnaise (preferably homemade)
½ Cup Sour Cream
¼ Cup heavy cream (from our raw milk)
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
ALL SPICES BELOW ARE TO TASTE
½ - 1 tsp. Garlic powder
½ - 1 tsp. Dry dill weed
½ - 1 tsp. Black Pepper
½ - 1 tsp. Onion Powder
½ - 1 tsp. Salt (best is Celtic sea salt or real salt)

Dump all the ingredients in a blender and blend on medium to high speed for 1 ½ minutes or until the mixture looks runny. Taste test and sprinkle in more seasonings as you see fit. Bottle and enjoy. Mixture will thicken more as it stands.

This was an answer to prayer. Who says that God id not concerned with the little things. I went shopping on Saturday for the month and guess what I forgot to pick up. I am trying to NOT buy anything between shopping trip, but my family LOVES their dressing. So, I had a delema. I felt silly bringing it to the Lord: Should I get the dressing and serve the famiy in this little area, or do I hold firm to the standard - no extra trip except for emergencies. It was a big hit. We may not buy store bought dressing again.
Blessings!

I'm so glad to hear that! God has answered my little prayers, too. He loves us in so many ways, doesn't He?

Blessings!

Momma,

How did your honey and lambies like the dressing? I'm almost out of ranch, and the girls that will be here tonight for us to babysit are HUGE ranch dressing eaters, so I'm heading into the kitchen now to make some. I wanted to see if you had posted a follow up. I don't have any cream, but I do have kefir, and I normally use buttermilk, so I'm going to use kefir :)

Blessings,
