We are leaving at 5:30 am or so in the morning for Jordin's surgery. His surgery is scheduled for 9:30.. Please pray for him and his recovery.. He is getting a bit nervous I believe, but ready for it to be over..I will let you know how it goes.. :)

Please keep my brother in law Ben in your prayers as he heals from his accident last week. He is home.. He has a broken hip and broken shoulder.. I know he is in pain and not very mobile and one of my neices was sick yesterday.. Also pray that my sister is nice to him.. She is a little upset about the whole situation.

Also please pray for my other brother in law Opie.. He has been having some issuses and they think it is his gall bladder he is supposed to go have a test ran tomorrow to see. So pray that they figure it out and he is better soon..

Pray that the rest of the family stays safe and healthy..

So today we got snow and I believe some ice.. It is just nasty outside right now... I know it is supposed to be spring.. My sister and her girls went to Dallas to see our sister. Her husband was in an accident.. He was sideways in the road and saw a semi headed towards him he jerked his wheel and ended up in the ditch a deep one at that. I guess there was 2ft of water in his truck when he got out.. He is in the city in the hospital with a broken hip and possible broken Shoulder.. My sister and girls are on their way back.. In fact they should be getting to the hospital pretty quick.. My youngest sister took her hubby to the same hospital in the city because they think it is his gall bladder.. My parents are in the city with my brother in law and waiting to get the girls I believe from my sister. My parents are planning to head home later.. Please pray for the safety of my parents driving home.. It is nasty out there..

Ok let the flowers go back to blooming and the tress budding, sun shining and spring..

I can't believe it is only Tuesday.. LOL Of course because of my leg and being down this past almost week I have slept so much there really should have been more days gone by.. LOL

Today at 11:15 I go see the ortho dr and have him mess with my leg and let me know what he thinks and whether or not it has to be casted now.. I will go crazy trying to scratch it if he casts it.. LOL I will live.. I need to be able to get around better than what I am...

I want to be able to cook supper tonight and well I may get a chair in there and cook something up.. I am in the mood to cook and bake, but I am not going to over do it.. Joslyn made brownies last night..

Well pray for me and my leg today.. I will let you know what the dr says..

My ex-husbands brother shot and killed his 3 year old daughter and himself sometime early Saturday morning.. My kids were with their dad this weekend when he found out.. Rodney had to go and tell his mom who lost Rodney's younger brother in a tractor accident like 30 years ago... She has some mental problems as well. Bonnie (rod's mom) was also one who babysat Elizabeth much of the time...

Rodney is the only Newton kid left and he is taking it pretty hard. PLease pray for Rodney, Bonnie, Jay his dad, my kids and the rest of the family as they deal with this tragic loss..

Robert lost his wife; Elizabeth's mom in 2006 due to Cancer, they had not been married long and Elizabeth was just little.. Debbie was his real first love and so he has had a rough couple years.. Please pray for Debbies mom and Debbis's 3 daughters.. The youngest of the 3 oldest was adopted by Robert after Debbies Death and she was the one who found them. She is a senior in high school this year...

Funerals are Thursday Morning.. Lizzie will be open, but Roberts will not.

I got a message at around 4am and they have found Tanner's body. I really do not know anything else at this moment, but that the family continues to need your prayers.. I know that now they have to do all the funeral stuff and etc that goes along with someone passing away..

Please Please Keep Cathy and her other 2 children in prayer along with all the other family and friends...

Please say a prayer for the family of Tanner Stanton he is the 17 year old son of my friend Cathy. Cathy is my daughter Jill and my son Jeremiah's couselor and also counsels with sever other kids from our area.. Tanner and a couple of friends  were out near a creek and dam and I do not have all the details, but Tanner saved his friend and then was swept under. This happened on Sunday and as of 4:30- 4:45 pm when I last spoke with our mutual friend Becky they had not found him yet..  Due to all the rains, flooding, and other factors where he went in it was making recovery efforts very difficult..

I know that Cathy always had extra kids at her house and that Tanner was a good kid who would give you the shirt off his back.. Please pray for Cathy and the rest of Tanner's friends and family.. Please pray for the staff at Solutions for Families who are also devestated by this as well as Cathy's best friend and hooked at the hip friend Becky whom I know is right there with Cathy holding her hand and though of Cathy's kids as her own.. They spent all spent lots of time together..  I know that Cathy and her family appreciate all your prayers....

When I heard I sent Becky a text and asked what we could do for Cathy and she simply replied PRAY.. So that my friends is what I am asking you to do is PRAY PRAY and Pray somemore for everyone affected by this tragedy.....

The crud...

I have felt pretty rough for a coupe of days and yesterday and most of today it took all I had to be able to get out of bed to go to the bathroom, so this am I woke up got the kids off and called the dr. I got there at 10:30 and she said yep it is the crud more sinus than flu, but even if it was the flu I had felt to bad for to many days to get tamiflu.. How about a shot in the backside she asks and I said yes please.. Got my shot came home went to bed woke up a few hours later did laundry, made a pie and supper oh yeah and went to my daughters ballgame.. I am begining to feel a bit run down so I am going to take my meds and go to bed and hopefully by tomorrow I will be way better.. I have baking to do for tomorrow's ballgame raffles .

Please pray for me and pray that my children all stay healthy.. Keep praying for Amy Jo aka gabbie427 and her little Noah..

My friend Amy Jo.. aka Gabbie427 is very ill with the flu.. She went to the dr yesterday and her test came back positive.. I have a tight chest, a cough and my throat is hurting a bit.. I feel a little rough and slept in this am.. I will probably go back and lay down here in just a bit..

I had heard that our county is just like infected with this flu stuff and for that reason alone I have tried to stay in as much as possible. Of course our school was closed for a couple of days due to the flu and I know at least one or two have tested postitive for influenza.. It is terrible to get..

Please say a prayer for Amy Jo and her little guy Noah who is also a bit sick and for her big guy Matt as he is home taking care of them again today. Please say a prayer for the others around here who are also sick and please say a prayer for me that I feel better soon..

I am going to get off here for now, but I will try to be back on in a little while...

Joslyn woke up today with a fever and a sore throat so we are heading to the dr this afternoon. She looks and feels rough and so she is resting till time to go to the dr. Bless her heart she feels like poop.

I am hoping that everyone does not get it.. Although I am sure it is going to be hard to prevent it since there are 10 of us and my hubbby isn't feeling very well and a couple others are starting to get coughs.. So this could prove to be interesting.. :)

I am having a horrible time with my sinuses, however I know when spring gets here they will dry up.. LOL

Well also please keep praying for my friend Tammy and her family and espcially little Zachary Elijah who is been really conjested and sick again..

Please pray for Laurie and Maurice Bonta. I have known Laurie since 2nd grade. She had pregnancy induced preeclamsia?? Sorry for the misspelling. Anyway they transfered her to a large hospital in the city last night and were to have taken the baby via c-section late last night. He was 31 weeks gestation today and they thought might weigh around 4 pounds. Laurie's situation was life threatening as her kidney and liver functions were starting to be affected. Laurie and Maurice have 2 girls at home 8 and 3 and Baby Issac was not due till the beginning of March. Please pray for this family. I know God is in control and has a plan..
