We were messing around earlier this week and I wanted my friend to take a picture of the kids and I. We were having fun taking pictures and the kids were posing for the camera and it as alot of fun, but I wanted to share this picture of the 6 of us so you can see us all together.......

The 4 younger kids and I along with my friend Steph are all sitting here in a hotel in the city in a hotel for the night. We are going to hit some thrift stores tomorrow and just have a day out to relax and have some fun along with finding some bargains.. We have been wanting to do something fun for awhile now and the chance has arisen so that is what we are going to do...

****BTW mom when you read this I forgot to go by your house and leave that thing, but I will be back tomorrow and will drop it off then...****

OK sorry needed to add that note for my mom.. The kids are excited and 2 of them are asleep.. They have no school tomorrow and had an early out today.. It was parent teacher conferences. The kids are all doing pretty well.

Well I am going to get for now.. Will let you know what I find in the way of bargains.

Talking about new chapters in life and such we just started yet another today.. My oldest child Jordin McKenzie just passed his drivers permit test.. YICKS.. He has driven around the farm forever, but now as long as he is with his grandparents or I he is legal on the highway....

I am proud of him.. Yesterday elected class president which he will be till he graduates and today his permit.. Oh my how time does fly....

Jordin McKenzie is 15 today.. Wow where has the time gone?? He is a freshman this year and is playing high school boys softball, basketball and I think he is going to run track as well.. Oh and let's not forget he will also be in FFA.... He is such a good boy with a great work ethic in fact sometimes I think too good of one.. LOL He still gives his mom a hug and tells her he loves her.. I have always told my kids they will never get to old or big to hug mom and say I love you...

Today he turns 15 and starts his first day of high school...

He took a day and a half to get here, but was a good baby.. He moved 650 miles the day after he was born and he took it all in stride.. I am so proud of him and love him so much..

Hi there.. How is everyone this wonderful morning?? Wow it is so nice in the mornings..  I love fall-like weather and that is what it feels like.. Jeans and a tee-shirt.. WOOHOO...

So today is the first day of school for my kids and I wanted to share a few pictures of them....

They are all excited about their new school and starting a new chapter... I am sure they will do fine.. They already know most of the kids in each of their classrooms from summer ball. There is a big change for them in the new school and that is that they will be in class with only their grade in the old school preschool and kindergarten were together, 1st&2nd were together, 3rd &4th were together, 5th&6th were together as was 7th and 8th.. I am excited for this year and pray that it is a good year..

Jeremiah Hunter Wingate is 6 today... I love you baby boy.. I can't believe that 6 years ago my little guy came into the world. He was my smallest baby out of the 5 and was also my only c-section. He will be starting the first grade few weeks.. Wow where has the time gone.. My oldest baby will be 15 and starting high school in less than a month...

Let me put you down to sleep.. Is your diaper wet or dirty?? Let me change you?? Are you dirty?? Need a bath?? Cutting teeth and have a fever?? Let me give you some medicine. Need to know that mommy is here and can scare the bad dreams away?? Then lets cuddle... Hush little baby mommy's going to take care of you..

Look at you go.. You can walk and run all over the place.. Opps you fell down let mommy see.. Need mommy kisses?? Mine you say?? How bout No!! come on doll we have go share our toys.. Bumps and bruises from falling on your unsteady feet?? Come here let  mommy kiss them and make them better.. What you are hungry?? Let mommy get you something to eat.. what you are dirty let's take a bath.. Tired and need some love?? Climb up on mommy's lap let her rock you and cuddle till all is right in the world again..

I know you are scared hon, but mommy will be right here waiting when you get off the bus at the end of the day. Don't worry you will make new friends.. Yes hon they will feed you. I know hon, but it will be ok.. It is time for you to go off to school all on your own.. Mommy loves you and will be here to feed you a snack and cuddle with you while you tell her all about your day............. Hi sweetheart!!! How was your day?? Really?? Good.. I am glad you are excited to go back tomorrow and see your new friends... No sweetheart mommy missed you too don't worry.. *no need to worry her more letting her know about the tears I cried as she left.. as she grows up I am sure there will be more*

I can't believe it you are done with elementary school and going to jr high.. I know mom is no longer as cool as she once was, but she is still here to feed you and to cuddle when being a preteen is just too much.. I love you too hon and yes I know you have to grow up sometime..

Oh wow here you are your first day of high school.. Where has the time gone?? It seems like just yesterday I brought you home from the hospital and you needed me for everything.. Now you can do it on your own.. High school will be tough hon, but mommy is still here for you.. I am praying harder than ever for you.. Oh my when did she grow up??? Where have the last 15,16,17,18 years gone?? Oh God I know that You loaned her to me, but she has reached the age where I can't always make everything better now, so God I know that You can still be so please be with her and protect her...

College.. Oh hon I am so proud of you.. What you are getting married?? Please God let her have found the ONE you have for her.. Please be with her and help her to keep You First in her life... I love you Lord and I thank You for giving me this one to love, grow, protect, nurture and teach for these years.. I know my job is not done, but becomes a bigger job now so Dear God I ask that when I can't be there that You hold them in your hands and protect them... God they are Yours...

She will never know how many prayers I said on her behalf of the tears I have cried for her, but God knows and God is in control of things.. Thank you God for entrusting me and loaning me these gifts to take care of for You.. I know you love them.. Thank You.. Do you realize that God is there for us to kiss our boo boo's and hold our hands, protect us, feed us, loves us and take care of us.. Just like we do our children, God does that for us.. Remember to take time to say thank you to God for this.. No matter what we have a Father who loves us and wants the best for us... God Is Good...

On Tuesday May 20th we had our last day of school.. My baby graduated kindergarten and my oldest baby graduated the 8th grade.. My oldest Jordin was the salutatorian of his class and he had to share a speach and all.. Here is a couple pictures of George.. AKA Jordin

I can't believe my oldest baby will be in high school next school year.. I also can't believe that  my baby will be in 1st grade next year.. My babies are growing up so darn fast and I can't believe it.. At the end of the next school year my oldest daughter will graduate from the 8th grade and as it looks now she will be the valadictorian of her class...

I am so proud of my babies.. They are my life!

today or tomorrow due to illness. Our school only has 55 students and 16 or 17 were gone yesterday which I believe was a 29% absentee rate. That is too big of a rate to keep the school open so we have closed for a couple of days to hopefully recover. Right now we are all well. Praise the Lord.

I am going to take a pot of chicken noodle soup over to my friend Tammy who lost her brother last week. Her baby is really sick and I had some soup. So I am going to make banana bread today and some cookies to keep these kids full for the next day and a 1/2. I will take Tammy a loaf od the bread also...

The kids are all playing and having fun so I am here trying to catch up on a few things.. I am getting ready to finish posting, go get the stuff in the oven, clean my room and then do some sewing.. I have a list of things to do and I need to get busy getting them done..

My tooth is loose.. and 2 nights later we loose it..

He is so excited.. I can't believe my baby is going to be 6 in July and that he just lost his first tooth.. He is so darn excited he wanted to tell everyone he knew.. He called his daddy, his poppa and anyone else who would answer the phone. He ran through the house with his tooth in a box ready to show anyone who would look. LOL When my hubby got home he hollered Gradey stop I gotta show you something and ran in to him and opened his box and puled his lip down so he could see it was cute...

He and I were watching tv and I was wiggling it a bit for him and then I popped it right out and that was it.. Anyway thank you for reading about my baby and his first tooth loss...

Jacob Aaron.... He was born 8 yrs ago today at 4:44pm. He weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce and was 21 inches long.. He was due 11/30 and would have come earlier, however his 3 older siblings broke out with Chicken pox the day after Thanksgiving.

Jacob is a smart, funny, loveable little boy who loves the computer.. He would be perfectly happy doing stuff on the computer all the time. He likes to swim, ride bikes, play and eat..
