brings a couple of thoughts to mind about our lives as Christians.. I have driven past and can look out my window and see where the snow is still untouched and in perfect condition. That is like us when we are first born. Clean sinless for the time being.
I can look out my window and see footprints in the snow which to me says well it is not as pure as it was at first, which to me signifies us as we get older and start to sin more.
Then in other places you can look and see the dirt and mud in the snow where it has been plowed or driven through and that represents us without Christ in our lives. He wants us to be clean and pure like the fresh fallen snow, but He knows that because of our sin nature we cannot be..
We are born innocent and then we grow and sin and then we come to God..
I also want to say to young people today that I think snow makes a cool analysis for staying pure till you are married. Think of it this way when God leads you and your mr/miss right do you want to give him/her a pure wonderful gift that God has given to you to share with that one person or would you rather give him/her a dirty unclean already been used gift like the snow on the side of the road that is all dirty and nasty?? I wish I had been taught more about all of this when I was younger, but I wasn't. I talk to my kids about this alot and pray that they make the choice to stay pure and clean for the ONE person God has for them.. It really is I believe the best and I applaud those who have done it the right way..
