I watched the weather last night before I went to bed and it said we would get about an inch of snow or just a dusting well when I got up this am it was white white everywhere and still coming down.. I was like woohoo. It is so pretty and I really don't have anywhere to go today.. I think we got like at least 3 more inches if not 4 or 5.. It is so pretty and watching it fall from the tree branches is so cool.. Thank You God for giving us this blessing of beautiful white snow.. The kids called and are going to stay with their dad today because the roads are bad, however he is going to bring them home tomorrow a day early so they can have all day with me Wednesday before school starts again on Thursday.. WOOHOO I am excited..

I made french toast this morning for brunch then I talked with my friend Amy Jo.. We talk on a regular basis and it is so much fun.. I haev a couple more things to do around here.. I have the dishes washed and drying I will put them away in a few minutes..  I need to sweep and fold a load of laundry and that will be about it for today.. I am also working on cookbooks and that is fun.

I will post my January Menu here in a little bit. I made a couple of finishing touches to it and got my snack ideas made out too.. However I have a couple kids who would like sometime on the computer so I will go read a chapter in my book, work on my cookbook and spend some down time alone with God and be back here later with my menu.

Do you have any plans for tonight as it is New Years Eve?? We don't I believe we will stay home and play games, watch movies and bring in the new year at home.. I might make some cookies to snack on while we are waiting for the ball to drop.. Happy New Years!!!!!
